March is B Corp month, and the theme for this year is We Go Beyond. The impact of any business always extends far beyond its walls. As certified B Corps, our governance structures mean #WeGoBeyond to create an inclusive and equitable workplace. One where differences are valued and diversity is celebrated, not just tolerated.
Maine B Corps have partnered with the ECC to help the Maine B Corp community and those looking to use business as a force for good, better understand how they can meaningfully engage with Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) within our community and introduce them to some of the nonprofits doing this important work.
Attendees will have ample time for networking with food and beverages provided by B Corp Certified Mascoma Bank followed by a facilitated panel discussion on JEDI. Following the panel you will have the opportunity to learn more about the ECC and get tours of the over 21,000 accessible square feet of public space in the community center and continue making new connections with fellow B Corps and non profit attendees.
